We are open to new clients, but have a busy schedule. Call us to see when we can fit you in, this will depend on the amount of work and where you are. We work from Monday until Friday, except on days with heavy rain.

Providing essential service to your property

I am based in Penzance and serve clients, big and small, all the way from Mousehole, to Ludgvan and Praa Sands.

Having initially began learning on the job with my stepfather, a gardener of 20+ years back in 2021, I now have 5 years of professional gardening experience.

Most of my work is for regular clients, providing an essential service every fortnight or month. I am always on call for odd-jobs. This can be anything from a 2-hour job to a days work.

What I charge

I set a standard rate for regular clients, based on the nature of the work and expenses occurred. Odd jobs can be quoted after seeing the task. Waste removal is handled by a separate contractor and billed separately.

Availability

I work from Monday to Friday and am occasionally available for weekend viewings. I am based in Penzance and work with clients in the surrounding area. I operate within a general 7 mile radius of the town.

Tools & Equipment

I am a fully equipped gardener with an environmentally conscious set-up. I drive a low-emissions car and run all my power tools on batteries except for a petrol mower. I have a wide range of professional standard hand tools of all sizes and shapes as well as the electric hedge cutter, brush cutter, strimmer, chainsaw and leaf blower making me totally equipped for almost any job.

Bringing back the magic to a driveway that looked old and worn and was covered in moss. Re-gravelled, re-levelled and ready to go.

Brush cutting to clear bramble patches

Brambles are too difficult to deal with by hand, that's why you need a brush cutter. I use a 56v battery powered bike-handled strimmer with a blade attachment for the quick and efficient annihilation of bramble patches. Ready for the burn.

Rejuvenating the beer garden in Penzances oldest pub

Sourcing, growing and planting out to bring the beer garden back to life for the spring with whole range of local and exotic plants for charming summer flower displays and range of colored leaves for all year round.

Handyman Gardener

I was born into a green-fingered family with experience passed down through my grandparents who farmed out at Godrevy and Lamorna and kept immaculate gardens around the farmhouse. I grew up with a large garden at home and have always been eager to get my hands dirty and work with tools. I have an eye for what can improve outdoor spaces and feel i've nourished a lot of creativity through stages of my life where I lived abroad and in cities, working in other industries and trades. I feel gardening is my soul niche in a way. It's a job where every day is different and never feels like "work", in the sense that I'd rather be doing something else while on the job.
